Project Proposal
Submit via email a one-page proposal by March 22nd describing
the application/method that you find interesting,
the steps you will take to investigate it,
what each team member will do, and
a list of at least four key steps your team will complete and the dates by when they will be
completed.
Only one person from your team should submit the proposal via email, cc’ing everyone.
Written Report
You must submit a PDF file of a first draft of your written report by April 21st and a PDF file of your
final written report by May 6th.
Your report must clearly describe the problem, and the methods you are applying, and conclusions. Include equations, plots, and pictures if needed. Only one person from your team should submit the final report. When submitting the final report, clearly define what the responsibility of each team member was. In grading, each team member’s contribution will be taken into account.
Presentation
By April 21st, send an e-mail to the instructor stating your project title, and which day you would like
to present. Pick dates from Tuesday, April 26th
Thursday April 28th
Requested dates will be assigned in the order the requests are received.
Presentations will be 35 minutes for each team. Leave 5 minutes for questions. Develop good
presentation slides. Practice your talk. All members of your team must participate in the presentation.
You must submit a PDF file of a draft of your presentation before your presentation day. It could be a few days before or just the day before.
